A program for eligible drivers
California’s Low Cost Automobile Insurance program (CLCA) offers liability insurance to eligible drivers with limited income. It is a specific state program, rather than a name for every inexpensive policy. Eligibility and coverage must be checked against the current program rules.

Before applying, ask about eligibility, required documents, the available coverage, payment options and any protection you need for your own vehicle. Do not assume a program policy meets a lender’s requirements.
