2. Incompetence or Dishonesty:
- Clients may request a review by the California Department of Insurance if there is evidence of incompetence or dishonesty on the part of the broker.
3. Acknowledgment:
- By signing the Broker Fee Agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees to the non-refundable nature of the broker fee.

Broker Fee Disclosure and Agreement
This disclosure has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines set by the California Insurance Commissioner. It outlines the terms of the relationship between you, the client, and CoverToday Insurance Agency LLC ("Broker"). By proceeding with your insurance purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. General Information:
- Do not sign any broker fee agreement unless all blank spaces have been completed and you have carefully read the entire document.
- Your insurance broker represents you, the consumer, and is entitled to charge a broker fee. This fee is not regulated by law and may be negotiable.
- It is illegal for an insurance broker to charge a fee for placing coverage exclusively with the California Automobile Assigned Risk Plan or the California FAIR Plan. Fees may be charged for other coverages.
2. Broker Fees:
- Broker fees are typically non-refundable, even if you cancel your coverage. Refer to your specific broker fee agreement for details.
- You may be entitled to a refund of a broker fee if the broker acted incompetently or dishonestly. For unresolved disputes regarding broker fees, you can contact the California Department of Insurance for assistance.
3. Client Rights:
- You are entitled to receive and retain a completed copy of this disclosure and any broker fee agreement you sign.
- Your broker may also receive commission from insurance companies for placing your insurance. This commission is separate from any broker fee you pay.
4. Premium Financing:
- If you choose to pay your premium in installments through a finance company, you are entitled to a copy of the premium finance disclosure and agreement. Ensure you review these documents before signing any premium finance agreement.
- Brokers are required to inform you if the insurance company offers its own installment plan, which is often less expensive than third-party premium financing.
5. Required Pamphlets:
- If your broker is placing automobile coverage, they must provide you with a copy of the Department of Insurance pamphlet "Automobile Insurance."
- If your broker is placing residential coverage, they must provide you with a copy of the Department of Insurance pamphlet "Residential Insurance."
- By signing this agreement, you acknowledge receipt of the appropriate pamphlets.
Broker Fee Agreement
This agreement is entered into by and between the client ("Client") and CoverToday Insurance Agency LLC ("Broker"), holding California Department of Insurance License Number 0K77310.
Terms of the Agreement:
1. Appointment of Broker:
The client appoints CoverToday Insurance Agency LLC as their insurance Broker of Record.
2. Broker’s Commitment:
The Broker agrees to represent the client with honesty and competence in all insurance-related matters.
3. Broker Fee:
- The client agrees to pay the Broker a fee of $__________. This broker fee is non-refundable.
- The Broker may charge additional fees for future services, as agreed upon with the client.
